My neighbor was cleaning out her mother's things and instead of just throwing everything out she put them in the garage to go through later. She was glad (and so was I) that she did because among a pile of recipes she found her parents' engagement photo circa WWII. Her father proposed while he was still in the army so he was wearing his uniform.
