How infuriating, just all-around! I'm sure that Jess will bounce back; she certainly seems more than capable and competent. But still, I hate petty office drama/politics and you really captured that with this piece. Good work! :)

Argh! I already hate Beth, I (sort of) hope she flunks out of the position eventually. Good managers/adminstrators/receptionists are hard to find!

Office politics are the worst. As are people who manipulate others for their own gain. Not sure if there is any element of personal experience in this piece (I hope not), but it would be beyond maddening. Thanks for sharing your work.
