Oh, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who celebrates it. (Well, am I too late to wish you guys?) I heard that people could gain weight easily during Thanksgiving, so yeah! Go and eat up! (Here in Malaysia there's no Thanksgiving day so I don't know about it...)

^.^ I know a lot of people who love anime and don't think it's childish, so you're not alone. I feel bad for people who aren't fans of it, honestly. They're missing out on a lot.

Yeah I get that from my work mates, well most of them. I have one co worker, who I am turning to anime and manga. He enjoys it from the art point of view. I love anime with intense passion. It is just so rich in culture and history. Anime isn't just for children, there is anime that deals with teenage and adult issues. I have plenty of manga that does. And just because a person watches hentai,they don't neccessarily turn into a sex manic. Most people here I think who perceive anime as childish have maybe watched one episode of pokemon or something and leave it at that. They don't research and look around more series that would be suitable for their age. I mean look at Eva. That in no way is a children's anime series. Heck even though Full Metal Alchemist has some very funny parts that would make in child laugh,the series is still mature enough for someone older to enjoy. It's all a matter of being closed minded to new things. That disappoints me too.

lol, my dad thinks anime is a waste too. I know a lot of people who think anime is childish but they are so wrong. Half the stuff in anime isn't um...child safe.

Most anime have the "ecchi" scenes and even some of them are rated, so I don't know why those people who watch them have to be considered "childish"...
