So I decided that I really really needed to vent about the LACK of common courtesy in retail - from customers' end. This may become a long term trend, both as an outlet and to let people know that I'm still amongst the living.

Good to see you're still in the world of the living.

Good to see you too, but I have to admit to my shame that I don't remember who you are. Did you change your LJ nick? XD:;;;

And good to see you posting again! Even if it's a rant. XD

Moved out with parents yet?
Sorry I've lost touch with you all - I've only just got off antidepressants (with a backup prescription in case I need it), and I really really just lost interest in socialization.
I'm still living with parents myself, but yeah, face to face service with customers seems to bring out the worst sort of entitlement in SOME people. Typically, the big tippers are easygoing and it's the tightwads who're the PICKIEST. XP
And happy holidays! I owe you art, too. I think. XD;;;;

Yeah, I've been out of the parents' way since 2000-2001... somewhat financially dependent on them still, however, so maybe I'm no better off. XD; And I know how it goes with losing touch with people, no need to apologize there - it's just good to hear from you.
Happy Holidays to you! But, uh... IF you owe me art, I really can't recall it. XD;;; Last thing I remember asking from you is if you had the log of that silly Sizer/Flute RP we did, and it's no big deal if you do. XD; I'd hardly refuse art if you wanted to draw, though. =3

Next time I'm in Toronto (February) I will have to drop by your shop!

we could easily base one of our outings ranting about this.

But yeah, if you still want to, I'd totally be willing to lend an ear.
Got another one today, only I'm the customer this time - being abused by another customer! WTF.
