The Pitter-Pat of the Ant

There's an old story that I remember hearing as a childhood, and over time I've seen it become sort of the de facto mantra used to give hope to someone who feels completely helpless in their situation, someone who feels like David going up against the mighty Goliath. The story is one I'm sure that nearly all of you have heard. It's a fable about ( Read more... )

Quite true. That seems to be the general story.

It's such a simple tale, yet it's one that I find very difficult to follow. Personality wise, I test as an INFJ on the Meyers-Briggs, and part of that means that I tend to trust intuition more than the things I can actually see. While in many ways it's a handy skill because I can deduce things that I don't have solid evidence to back up, it has the downside of not always being correct, and so sometimes I do jump to the wrong conclusion because I haven't thoroughly studied the evidence to determine the true cause.

But I think in general that it's something that everyone does to some degree, and it's something that we all must work on. Because, I mean, we wouldn't have parables and morality tales like this if it weren't a general reflection of humanity, ne? ;)

true that XD

And hey, I'm supposed to be an INFP or ENFP or something of that sort... I notice, that I only tend to be friends with people with the N. Intuition. I haven't had a single friend take the test that didn't get an N o_O

Three out of four the same ain't bad. XD Actually, it's funny. I've taken the test twice: once after 10th grade and once after 12th. I got the same personality type both times. What was interesting was what happened with the actual scores. In 10th grade, I was strongly I, strongly N, strongly F, and strongly J. In 12th, I was significantly weaker in each, with my strength scores almost reduced in half, signifying that I was becoming a much more balanced person.

This is entirely irrelevant to your post TML, but I saw on zelda_lovers you bought the Gashpon figures. I'm just telling you that they are awesome and Zant is easily the best of the four characters in terms of everything. Zelda looks awesome, but you can see the join lines if you look at her normally.
