WARNING: Extremely long post ahead! :D I didn't spellcheck so I'm sorry. Too long. XD

Man I'm soooooo exhausted. D: But it was INCREDIBLE!!!!! XDDDDD Jetlag has made me really cranky!

First off, I want to say that I'm extremely fortunate to be able to go to this event in the first place. I was lucky enough to save enough money for me and my sister to go all the way to Los Angeles and stay at hotel for 3 days and with a lil' bit of spending money. My dad and the rest of my family were against us going, fearing that this trip would go horribly wrong for two 18 year old girls alone in a big city and that it would end up being a complete disaster. I never really traveled with out my dad until college but it was still in state. So you can imagine how he was reacting when I told him I was set on going.

Secondly, I want to generously thank evil_jenbo, zutefi_chan, and their mom for taking me and Mana to the tri-rail station to get to the Ft. Lauderdale Airport. Never in my entire life has a friend ever done such a big favor me. Never, never, never. I'm truly grateful. My dad refused to take me to the airport because he didn't want any part of our crazy adventure. Yes, I could have possibly found a way to go. Yes, I could have been possibly screwed of being not able to go or I could have cold-feet and decide not to go.

Thursday: May 24th, 2007
Jenbo and Stefo picked us to take us to the MIA Tri-Rail station, where we would leave to the Ft. Lauderdale Airport. Again, I was thankful that I had a ride for that was the only way I was going to get there.

We left at 2:45pm. Got on the train when it came at 4:28pm. Got to the airport around 5:00pm. Ate dinner amd then my dad called and started telling me to be safe, don't trust anyone, and all the parenting things parents do. I started to cry because I felt bad that I was making him worry so much.

We started boarding the plane around 6:45pm but when I was finally seated, I kinda started regretting what I was doing. I knew what I was doing what really crazy but I knew I couldn't back down now that I fought so damn hard. I was just scared and I hoped everything would go fine on my first crazy adventure.

Well the plane ride went smoothly enough. New Orleans, Houston, Phoneix looked beautiful in the night sky. I wish I could visit a lot of places. So we checked in our hotel around midnight in L.A. (3:00am in Miami) and the hotel room was fucking huge! D: I was so impressed. The hotel was Westin and it was a gorgeous 4-star. I can't believe they do deals like that with those hotels. And lastly may I add, that the beds were so comfortable! ;____; I wish my bed was like that bed... it would help us insomiacs out a lot...

Friday: May 25th, 2007 Day of Concert/Kacie's Birthday
We woke up pretty early on this day. Around 10:00am we left to take the Metro bus to the Wiltern. It was quite... interesting. :D We had an old Asian bus driver on the first bus and he drove crazy. Then we transfered on to the second bus to take us to Wilshire (which took forever to come! D: We we're in a bad neighborhood too). In the second bus there was this Mexican kid that kept tryin' to talk to me and Mana. Which was funny because he kept asking stupid questions like "Are they building something there? Wondering what they're gonna build?" God I wanna slapped him. Reminds me the Orlando bus adventure... XD Turns out the concert is in the middle of Koreatown! :D

Any ways we finally got there around 1:00pm and we went to stand in line. Thinking that the line ended at the end of the block, because the line was cut off to turn the rest of the line down the street, we stood there until someone told us that it wasn't the end of the line. So we went aaaaaall the way back there, 3 blocks down. ;___;

So we stood in line for six hours. By the 3rd hour we were already sunburned. Surprisingly Cali was really cold! Cold meaning that it was 70s-60s. We made friends with these weird highschool girls who were there to see Miyavi. I kinda wanted to slap them for only going because they thought he was hot, but they were cool to talk to nonetheless. We got interviewed 3 times. By Tokyo Pop, some Japanese Indie Rock Station, and some other random station or something. Umm... I bet we sounded really idiotic. And I blame the sun. So if you see me in an interview, I'm sorry! D: XD I hope not because I don't want to know what the results were since I'm sane right now! LOL A lot of people dressed cute. Some not so much. I didn't really like most of the fans there because they each believed they were more dedicated than the other. That kind of air. Which is fine. I've listen to this genre of music for about six years now. Doesn't mean I have to dress their gothic lolita style or meet any of their stupid standards. I know I've been a fan. LOL Stuck-up bitches. XD

During the wait in line, we bought official merchandise that the venue believed that they could sell outside. They were ridiculously overpriced. DX The shirts were $35 a pop. Most of the things they were selling were selling out quick. It was ridiculous how small the quantity they had for such a large event. So basicially everyone was saying good luck trying to buy any item at the booth inside. Which I was sad that I couldn't get anyone any good souvineors... Sorry. I only managed to get a shirt my size and a Duel Jewel photo set. Also called nikosakura to wish her a "Happy Birthday". Jenbo also helped time fly by texting me which was awesome when she sent me porn! XDDD PRICELESS!!

Finally the time passed to let us in. As we were getting ready to get inside, Miyavi decides to drive a red convertible through the street and started honking at the crowd! It was freakin' AWESOME!!! XDD We ignored the already extremely crowded merchandise booth to run and get a good spot. The pit was already filled up ofcourse but we managed to get in the 2nd layer. But one problem. EVERYONE WAS FUCKING TALL. D: We were simply screwed.

As we waited for the show to start, the theatre played The Last Live DVD from X Japan. It was cute to watch it again! XD

The show started with Kagrra as the opening band! I barely remembered what they played. I remembered they played "Utakata", which I loved so much! I do remember how they got the crowd crazy so well! They're an amazing band live! I was really impressed. I believe they did a lil' non-yaoi fanservice and that the singer was so beautiful. Kudos to his performance! It blew me away! The vocalist even tried his best to speak English with the crowd! I was surpised he made the effort to talk to us! Even though he was reading from a piece of paper. XD *coughsKyoshouldtrythatsometimecoughs* I understood him pretty well! LOL Being with those Japanese students helped!

Next up was, DUEL JEWEL!!! OMG ASDFGHM,KGFWWRTYUI VBNERT GH! THEY WERE AMAZING LIVE!! XDDDDD The bassist and the guitarist were awesome! They were so cute to watch. And Hayato was already amazing! He was awesome with the crowd from what I seen! I remembered they played "Hanauta", Hahaha, which is my one favorite songs by them! ((I only remember the songs that I really liked... sorry)) They did an awesome job. I wish I could remember every single detail, but everyone knows how my memory is. Hayato also tried speaking English with the crowd! His English was a lot better! Haha! He was so cute! He also announced that Duel Jewel will be doing a tour soon and that he would like us to come support them. I HOPE THEY HAVE A SHOW IN FLORIDA! PLEASE GOD THEY WERE SO GOOD LIVE!! ;____;

Now the following performance was no other than the AMAZING MYVs. Who opened his performance ghetto style! Which was fucking awesome. He had his whole Oresama attitude on! A Japanese rapper also performing with him along with a taiko drummer, two tap dnacers (one with a umbrella) and the rest of instruments. I wished I saw this performance perfectly. But I was flawed to be short... So me and Mana had to fight just to be able to see his head! D: I do remember him playing "Are you ready to ROCK?" and "Selfish Love". He would have the best performance by far ((if only I saw clearly ;______;)). Then at the end of the song, Miyavi made his attepmt to speak English! XD His English was pretty decent! I don't know why he did so bad singing the song "Hit the Road Jack". XDD He was very vain too. Saying things like, "What's my name?" and "I can't hear you!" Then he brings out Sugizo, and I was almost in shock. By this time the crowd had calmed down ((but I was cursing every tall fucker there)) and I couldn't believe I saw Sugizo so well! They started playing another song ((I forgot it and I knew it too! ;___; and I know I should be shot)). At the end of the song, Miyavi said he had another surprise and some other Engrish gibberish I couldn't understand. XD Yoshiki came out on stage! I went ballistic? I think that's how I would describe that one. Yoshiki ((ofcourse his perfected English)) thanked the crowd for coming and that he wanted to share the surprise. He let a movie played saying that Sugizo, Yoshiki, Gackt (OMGWTFGackt?!), and now MIYAVI were going forces to form this super band called SKIN. I couldn't believe I didn't cry! Everyone was screaming and cheering it was amazing. I really want to see how this project works out. I'm so excited. Yoshiki announced that their first debut would be at ANIME EXPO, June 29th ((GOD DAMMIT!!!!!! DDDDDD:)) and that he was sorry that Gackt couldn't make it! ((OMG GACKT ALMOST CAME! ;_____; SOME BULLSHIT!)). After that Yoshiki left and let Sugizo and Miyavi finish his performance. That was truly amazing. But I knew all along that Gackt, Sugizo, and Yoshiki were planning something like a band together. Since those rumors started. I knew it. LOL Always trust your instincts... I just never expected Miyavi to join. It's gonna be interesting indeed. XD

Vidoll came up afterwards. I could see them a lot better because some people left after MYV's performance ((too bad not enough left)). I knew nothing of this band at all when I came that day. So I can't tell you if they're better live or on record. But I will say that the singer's voice is very similar to Asagi. They had some good hard core songs that I would like to find sometime soon. So they impressed me. I believe they did a couple of hot fanservices and the bassist/guitarist ((I can't remember which)) looked liked Bou's and Tsunihito's child they had together one crazy night! Me and Mana agreed on that part. LOL He was cute. Unfortuantely Vidoll was the only one who didn't try to speak English to the crowd. Which kinda sucked since he didn't try. The crowd basically was like "HUH?!"

LAST but certainly NOT the least because they were fucking AMAZING, was none other Alice Nine! asdfghjkl;!! sdfghjk,l.gfdeerTY!HJ!!!!! I simply CAN'T tell you how AWESOME they were live. They're music really was soooo much better live. Out of all of the bands, I recommend people to see Alice Nine live. They really did do a good show. I can't tell you how happy I was when the opened up with "Velvet". Out of every L'Arc, Diru, Gackt, whatever song in the world that I love, nothing has beaten "Velvet" yet. And I knew tears were burning my eyes. I knew every damn word. I went fucking nuts. I bet if you told me to start a mosh pit. I bet you I would have done it. It was amazing. The performance live was even BETTER. Mana was so sweet that she made sure that I got to see that performance well. XDD I'm truly grateful. I don't what else to say about that song! D: Too good for words. After that song, Shou talked to the crowd in Engrish! Which was so cute! Probably one of the better Engrishes that night. After his speech I remember them playing "Yami ni Chiru Sakura" and "Gin no Tsuki Kuroi Hoshi" ((not to sure about this one)). I was so happy that they played most of their old songs! I'm was blown away. They did a lot of cute fanservices! Shou with Hiroto a lot. Everyone went behind Nao's drum set or later in front and played along with him! How come I feel that they're the only band that shows their drummer some love? XD It was an awesome performance. Shou did a really good job. My favorite part, and I couldn't believe it happened, was that Saga made out with his bass. Saga had atleast done it for a minute, or more. That was so fucking hot. They ended with the song "Shunkashuutou" and as quickly the show started, it ended. It was amazing. And I'm sad I couldn't see as well or that I can't remember most of it.

I can't believe Alice Nine won Mana over!

We tried to get to the booth, but that was fucking hell. So we abandoned that idea seeing that the time we would get there everything would have sold out if they weren't already. Plus we were getting crushed. So we grabbed a bunch of flyers instead. :D

That night was awesome. Didn't get home till 1:00am and that taxi was fucking expensive. XD But it was soooo worth it. All I hope for now is a DVD. PLEASE LET THERE BE A DVD FOR THIS EVENT SO I CAN REMEMBER IT FOREVER!! And see some stuff that I couldn't! XD

Next concert I'm wearing 6in heel boots. Not even joking.

Saturday/Sunday: May 26th/27th, 2007
Basically we woke up really late. It was freezing outside so we decided against the beach. It was cold. We were burned and bruised. Not much fun. No energy. So we explored our hotel and found out that there was this Geek Convention going on. LMFAO. Who would have guessed? Mana kept jinxing things the whole weekend. We didn't join because we had to pay to get in, and we didn't feel that it was worth it.

Monday: May 28th, 2007 Memorial Day
Couldn't sleep a fucking wink in that overnight flight. -_____- We came in 7:13am. Time never went that slow. I hate all-nighters... But I was happy that our Dad did come to pick us up when we came back~! I think he was just too relieved that we came back in one-piece! XD ((Sayendo! Sayendo!)) I was EXTREMELY grumpy ((with perfectly good reasons)) so I decided to take a nap. Which ended up being 6 hours. It screwed up my clock. I learned curing jetlag the hard way... D: I need to start practicing that!

Well that's that! XD Peace!
