I asked my Chinese friend what she recommends for gaining weight as she had to do that too. She said, eggs or anything with protein. Then I said maybe red meat to build up the blood. I think if you start nutritionally on getting your blood healthy and the bone marrow then you can go from there. I suggest good exercise and while building muscle, eaat a lot of protein to keep up with the building of muscle mass. But start out with replenishing your blood first so you have energy or you will deplete yourself.
I highly recommend tai chi chuan. Yang style.
