As many of you (usually like myself) don't pay attention to every move they make, and I can tell all of you at once: You should know that Livejournal laid off almost half of their staff today, apparently including their engineers

I'm not too concerned about backing my journal up. I'm willing to let it go. I'll just be sad if I have to blog on Facebook or Myspace... they don't seem as blog friendly.

I guess it is a real possibility that the journal could disappear. Shay said that's what happened to blogpod.
