How can anyone look up at the stars, and not find absolute beauty?

I love the stars. How they're so far away, but they seem so close. Josh 'n me went out there last night and just stared at the stars, wondering, pondering, and just staring. That's one thing I really miss in Santa Barbara. There's just enough light pollution that you can't gaze at all the stars, just the brighter ones. It's so very relaxing to look at them, or to gaze upon moonlit waters...

For the past two nights I've gone out by the college and stared at the stars. That's made me realize I can't live in a big city. Or if I do, I need to keep time to drive out to where there are stars. I would die without stars. The milky way is so pretty. Just makes you feel so...good. ^_^
