Paregoric is on of the good ones, I'm glad you approve.

As for Question... that was exactly the point I wanted to make. They are people from two vastly different circles, creatures that tread a similar territory but on very different legs. For all appearances they shouldn't be together. But even if you don't like them as a couple (believe it or not, I didn't for a long time) there is an undeniable connection between them that calls one back to the other.

It’s no, but it’s really convince me, and the difference is huge and yawning.

Nngggg. Oh, Rorschach, why is your repression so hot.

Another set of great ones, Paregoric and Question jump out at me for the interactions, and Meaning is also great.

He feels hot and wanted and consumed, and the word that springs to his is ravished, you’re being ravished, and then Rorschach moves just so and his brain stops making words.

Okay, I take it back, the LACK of repression is even hotter.

But yeah, I agree with steals_thyme that so much of what's important about them is bound up in their history and something strong that must have been built between them over the years, all these unspoken understandings and anticipated reactions and some kind of connection that wasn't ever really severed, and seeing that, subtly and quietly and within the context of that partnership, is really compelling.

Repression is hot because it stretches tension out like a fine wire, taunter and taunter until the inevitable snap.

rrragh, your quotes point out typos to me, noooo.

Regardless, thank you. Though I don't think it's so much a 'lack of repression' as merely being post-snap. He'll go right back to being repressed the moment he can think straight.

Heh. Think straight.

.////. rrrl. Thank you. It's one of the parts of their relationship that I think needs more attention.

Post-snap, yes, that's more what I was getting at, just wasn't being very coherent about it. The idea of someone who IS that repressed finally being given enough of a reason to snap, that's some powerful stuff.

I thought so, heh. And that's why I wrote it.
