It's a stereotype, but not one based on sexism or any sort of negative bias.

I'm a woman who quite regularly goes out of her comfort zone; I have to in order to progress and enjoy life - but those comfort zones are internal. While I'm often out of my comfort zone when I'm not in a safe space, the comfort zones I have to break out of most are my habits, that safe feeling with something familiar.
