If I might say, I would say, you cought a glimpse of something romantic.
Feels beautiful, actually. Though I've never been there. Somehow reminds me of Notre Dame in Paris.

it was very very cold, I was getting late for the train back and completely alone, what's romantic about that? :)

When you're cold - your nose's supposed to be cold, which should remind of someone who'd love to warm it for you. That's romantic. "Completely alone" is yet again romantic. Probably, because you shouldn't have been lonely.
And why did you stop to take a picture if being late in the first place?
