More growl at Referendum 71

"The layout has been tricky and may contain the largest amount of text of any initiative or referendum to date."

Really? I suppose not surprising considering that a "no" vote will repeal the legislation. So what are they doing? "the largest amount of text of any initiative or referendum to date".

Yes. They're loading the page up so thick that people will vote no out of boredom or confusion. It's been researched and shown that people who don't understand an initiative or don't know about it or are confused by it will tend to vote no.

So there you have it. They plan to get their way by causing a huge confusion on the referendum and having people vote "no" so it fails, thereby repealing SB5688. Not only does this affect "gay rights". It also affects the elderly. Yes. Elderly straight couples are allowed to register as domestic partners as well.

This issue scares them so much, they'd rather punish their elders than see gays have their happiness.

With this kind of deceit, how can this not be about discrimination and hate?

Part of me is frustrated and annoyed at their small minded hate.

A smaller part of me feels really really sorry for their very limited world views. You have to wonder what goes on inside those trapped little minds. Truly, these people deserve some modicum of pity.

But not until the human rights they are working so hard to deny the citizens of your country are secured. You can hardly call it a civilized country with such barbaric policies in place.
