Live journal is tracking you, and purposfully trying to hide it.

Long story short. And this gets me angry:

Livejournal has started tracking links to certain outbound site. They are watching you.

Worse than I thought originally.

They're farming out the links to certain sites to an "outside" redirector. This redirector attaches their "referral ID" to e-commerce sites.

So whenever you clicked a Link to Amazon or someone else on an LJ page and bought an item? outboundlink.net (or maybe LJ) got a "referral bonus" for it.

So not only was this outboudnlink.net tracking your "commercial" activity, they were getting kickbacks for it.
