I deleted my okcupid account today, because it seemed silly to keep it. I don't think I'd ever really want to meet someone for dating off the internet, and I'm not looking for anyone right now. I have so much going on, but I've always been one who thrived under pressure. I just hope that hasn't changed since the last time I was busy-as-fuck.

Ya know how I can tell I'm a pessimist? Because I feel more comfortable when things are going badly than when all is well. When things are good, I get nervous, waiting for something to ruin everything. I really should just learn to enjoy fleeting happiness while it lasts...

somehow, it's almost funny to me how the internet, which allows the opportunity to communicate with literally millions of people all over the globe, makes me feel really alone. kind of "funny haha" but mostly "funny/sad." why am i writing this? i should be reading instead.
