Once again it will be an election in which I don't want to support any of the candidates. This time, however, I think the evil:evil ratio will be slightly lower.

Regarding Clinton's scariness: Have you seen the 3AM admercial yet?

Oh yes, and I'm confused by it on multiple levels.

First, they both have the same amount of leadership experience when it comes to foreign policy or the military. I know Hillary was actually in the White House for eight years, but she was a policy adviser at best and a tea hostess at worst. She didn't actually have to be the one making the call at the end of the meeting is she was even invited (as opposed to filled in afterward).

Second, McCain trumps them both if we're using that as a fitness benchmark. He is a former military commander who's actually been tested in combat.

So what are we supposed to take away from it, again?

I think the message was:

You're in danger. We're in danger. We're all in danger. So let's give all of the power to the government and they'll protect us.

Very democratic. What happened to liberty? OMG. But I agree, very cryptic. I don't agree that Clinton and Obama are equal on the simple issue of spotlight leadership. However, I don't believe that they are equal either on matters of honesty, liberty, justice, and many other key topics that I believe are in need of refreshment within our white house and country. I think she keeps playing that card because it's one of her last believable cards. As you've pointed out, there are very few key issues on which she hasn't indirectly, or even directly, contradicted herself.

Why must Geraldine Ferraro sully my happy memories of her historic nomination? Why you gotta be like that, Geraldine? This feminist is putting bros before hos.
