I am so very sorry If I offended you babe. Nothing I did was intentional to try and upset anyone. I don't try and upset friends. I hope we are all good. Huge hugs.
No offence taken on my part - I get that small children can be difficult, and fussy about food, and can occasionally get overexcited around pets...it's part of the deal, from what I've gathered!
I'm just sorry I didn't realise just how fragile you were feeling. I should have given you more hugs...
I shouldn't have come I turned a lovely evening with friends into a fuck up. Ok so you and me are ok now I have to ask about your other half. *Did* he say something like what I heard? Or is it my crap hearing again, I did have Little Man screaming in my ear.
1) Ok so I'm not as deaf as I first thought and now I have proof of that.
2) We are ok?
3) Did notice talking to Little Man and that is also why I asked you to do it to me so I knew what was happening however in that situation I thought you were going to talk to him only as you had gotten to him before I did. I was moving over to him to correct the behaviour at that time believe it or not. Although yeah he had not been on his best behaviour that night from the get go.
4) Perhaps in his own surroundings for the next dinner would be more appealing as I think I have figured out one of the reasons for the yelling a lot at the furchildren. So with more knowledge we have more knowhow.
5) Yes both of us next time def for sanity's sake.
So just to reiterate we are ok and there will be a next time?
we is okay. I claim ownership of at least some of the f*ckupedness here.
I didn't see you moving over. Nuts :(
Furkid yelling? Reasons? Elaborateness! One definite reason that I'd like Little Man over again, is that he is one of the very very few people that Sam has expressed positive interest in. Usually he sniffs people, and then lies down. Not Saturday. Couldn't get enough of him, it seemed.
::hugs:: There will definitely be more times. If it's only one more, I'll be sad.
I believe that Little Man was getting intimidated by a dog which was bigger than him and so he went to natural instinct mode and made himself as loud and as tall as he could.
Hence the shouting and being on the couch.
Looking at it from his point of view Bos is at his head height and although lovely natured still a large boy. If I had a dog that could look me in the eye and still be standing on all fours I'd be intimidated.
Little Man doesn't know these guys from a bar of soap and was just coping the only way he knew how. Gotta love basic animal instincts. I should have thought about it a bit more before letting him down or at least chatted with him a bit more about the situation and told him some of the things he could do if something went down that he didn't like.
