to me, the book presents an interesting interpretation of how history is shaped and influenced. as trashy and rushed as my thesis, any ol' script in the past was probably more so. you can't quite erase without creating a mess, you can't quite write without being misinterpreted. its just an interesting and relatively objective way of viewing the ( Read more... )

Have heard a bit about this book, but haven't actually read it. Vaguely recall things about a conspiracy hiding the fact that Jesus had a wife and child? Or was it hiding the fact that they picked a normal man and started a religion around him ( ... )

i've read a number of books about cultures that predate christian beliefs that have affected christianity in one way or other. there was another book that was more academic (read: boring) but covered the possibility of having another culture predate our neolithic brothers before 15,000 BC. it appears as if the pyramids in egypt as well as those in mexico were from those days. the OTHER pyramids were mainly replicas. interesting shite, if i can remember the name of the book ( ... )

THe human need/desire to be imposing creates much conflict..unnecessarily.
We care too much about what people think.
