And NO I don't own anything... except from the plot.
Summary: Yoko is convinced there's something more going on between Ryo and Ohkura. The members bet about it and Ryo gets targeted...
In the middle of Osaka, in the middle of a bar, in the middle of an argument we find five young men sitting together at a small table. Two of them are passionately throwing opposite opinions in each others faces with chins and teeth sticking out aggressively, while the other three are mostly watching.
“Well, I think it's fishy!” Yoko said to Hina across the table. They were currently having a group discussion regarding the real relationship between one Nishikido Ryo and Ohkura Tadayoshi. None of which were currently present, of course.
“Okay, then let me ask you, what exactly make you think that they're in some kind of relationship?” Hina was kind of tired of this argument already, the older man had been going on and on about it for almost three weeks now and Nasu Ranger's patience was about to run out.
“Isn't it obvious! I can't believe I'm the only one seeing it!” Yoko had a hard time dealing with the fact that no one supported his theory.
“That's why we're asking you. Why don't you just tell us what makes you so sure?” Maru jumped into the conversation. He, Subaru and Yassu had been sitting quietly watching the other two debate, but now even Maru was kind of curious, what exactly did Yokoyama have in mind when suggesting such a thing between other members.
“Fine... Well, they always stay close right? They hang out a lot in their free time too. And they hold hands a lot, and-” Yu doesn't get a chance to develop any further.
“But that's the same with all the members. Ryo-chan is always holding or touching someone, that's not exclusive to Tatsu. It's in his nature, it's as simple as that. You have no solid argument at all.” Hina was finally going to put an end to all of this. It was getting ridiculous and it was probably all Yoko's imagination running wild because of boredom and lack of fun things to do... or something.
“Wanna bet!? Huh? I bet 10 000 yen- No, 15 000 yen that they are in a intimate relationship!” Yoko was getting angry and when he got angry he got even more annoyed and when that happened... Well pretty much anything could come flying out of his mouth. Including bets like this one. But he was very confident this time.
“Fine, if that's what it takes. I'm in.” Of course Hina would take the bite, this was easy money, and if this was what needed to be done for Yoko to let this thing go; anything was fine by him.
“Good. What about you guys? Wanna bet too?” Yokoyama had turned to the three bystanders and was giving them his best challenging look, chin sticking out and lips pressed together. It seemed to work, at least on Subaru.
“Okay. I'm in too, against of course.” Subaru actually didn't know what to think, but a bet was always a fun thing for passing time.
“Hmm, I don't know. I'm a little low on money this month and besides is it really such a good idea to bet on them like this?” Doing something like a bet wasn't really nice towards Ryo and Tacchon. No matter what the truth may be, Maru wasn't sure this was a good thing to do at all.
“Come on. Don't be boring.” Yoko urged on.
“Well, okay. I bet against them being together, but how will we even know which sides right?” Maru was still not too sure, but both Hina and Yu was giving him strong glares, and he had always been little of a pushover.
“Well actually, I was thinking of only betting about Ryo-chan's feelings. Because there is a chance that he hasn't actually told Ohkura anything yet. But I'm 100 percent sure that Ryo's in love!” He looked up absentmindedly as he went through some of the latest moments he had seen the two lovebirds share. In the progress Yu almost forgot to listen to what Hina was saying.
“Eh? You're changing the bet? ...Whatever, it's the same for me. So we're betting about Ryo-chan's feelings for Ohkura? Am I correct?” Hina had to establish the rules clearly, because if he didn't there were quite the big risk of Yokoyama trying to cheat his way out of things when they turned bad for him.
“That is correct indeed. Also, when it comes to how we'll get an answer. I'll just keep an eye open and jump in on Ryo to make him confess on a good time when he can't deny it!” This plan was waterproof and Yoko was incredibly proud over his own abilities.
“Eh? But I don't think Ryo will admit it just like that.” Yassu hadn't spoken until now, neither had anyone asked him to, probably forgetting about him in their excitement.
“Of course he will, as long as we keep asking and keep looking for evidence. It might take some time, but I never said that it wouldn't. Ah! By the way! Yassu!” For a minute there Yoko had forgotten all about the group's girlfriend.
“Eh? What?” Yasuda had been a little startled about the sudden yell, but recovered fast enough to answer back.
“You haven't said anything! About the bet I mean. Who're you putting your money on?” Yu slung his arm around the smaller man and suggestively whispered the last sentence, as if it was a crime that needed to be hushed about, completely different to how the oldest of them had handled the subject up until this very point.
“Oh... I'm betting for them.” It probably came as a surprise to the others judging by their looks, but Yassu had decided from the beginning. He gave Yoko a smile.
“Eh..?! Really!? You're on my side! Yatta! See? See?! In you're face!” Yu was very pleased with Yassu being on his side. And as if he had already won the bet he did his best to tease the other three, soon to be losers, about how Yassu really was the only one with a brain among all these monkeys. Well, except from himself of course, he had a brain too. An ingenious one at that.
“Yassan, why are you taking his side? He's never going to shut up about it.” Subaru was leaning in closer talking quiet not to let Yoko hear him. Not that he would have anyway, since the man-boy was currently jumping up and down in his seat as he pointed his finger knowingly at a very upset Hina.
“It's more fun this way.” Yasuda said and shrugged his shoulders. It was all it took for Subaru to let the subject go. Unfortunately Yoko was a little more stubborn than that and before they knew it they had talked about the bet for another one and a half hour before they decided to split up and go home.

He was finally back in Osaka after two weeks in Tokyo and even though he had missed his other group, Ryo had this nagging feeling that his members were up to something. Ever since this morning the guys, especially Yokoyama had been watching him strangely.
When it was only five minutes before their schedule meeting for their upcoming tour, Yoko suddenly asked out rather loudly:
“Where the hell is Ohkura? Aren't the meeting beginning like, any second?” Ryo turned around to look at him. The older man looked confused and even a little worried. Ryo shook his head and almost felt like grinning at Yokoyama's daft expression.
“He's filming for his movie today, he's not coming until later tonight.” Strange enough this answer made Yoko smile. It looked a little evil, as when the man was planning mischief of some kind.
“AHA!! I knew it! How come you know what Ohkura is doing and I don't?” Now Ryo really was confused, was what that supposed to mean? He was just about to answer back when Hina beat him to it.
“The manager told us all earlier. If you would pay a little attention you would have known too. Aho!” With a smack on Yokoyama's head and a unusually content smile Hina walked back to his corner to put his stuff away before turning back to the room.
“Well, I guess it's time. Let's go.” And so the six Kanjani members present proceeded to their waiting meeting with the staff, Ryo still puzzled about the whole thing and Yoko rubbing his sore head.

It was later that day, just after eating a late dinner, that Ohkura arrived at the dining room with a hurt expression marking his features.
“You ate already?” It was kind of obvious that the youngest member was disappointed at arriving only in time for empty dishes.
“It's okay. We'll just order in some more and wait for you. We won't get anything done if we leave you hungry anyway. You'll just get grumpy.” Ryo said and gave Ohkura a smile as he pulled out the chair next to him. Then he noticed that look in Yoko's eyes again. Luckily he didn't say anything this time, but he seemed oddly happy with just watching Ryo, and Ohkura who quickly began to eat the newly arrived food.

They were having meetings almost every day this week and also a few recordings for their new TV-show, which meant that Ryo would be seeing the rest of Kanjani practically all the time. Usually that was a good thing, but with how things were recently, he really could need a break. It was eight in the morning and he and Ohkura had just gotten to work. Ryo even thought about risking being late just so that he wouldn't arrive together with the taller man walking beside him, but unfortunately he was too serious towards work to actually go through with it. He sighed deeply as he pushed open the door to the dressing room.
“Dokkun! Ohkura! Good morning!” In a second Yokoyama was bouncing in front of them. Ohkura gave a nod and a smile in reply, while Ryo didn't bother to recognize the jumping man at all. But Ryo knew that wouldn't help much, and just as predicted Yoko followed him and plopped down beside him as Ryo put away his stuff.
“How come you arrived together with Ohkura?” Of course Yoko would ask, he had been asking Ryo about Ohkura all too often lately and Ryo still had no idea why. He thought about ignoring him, but then he remembered that that was a losing strategy, so instead he settled for inventing some lie to prevent the man to pry further. However, before he had the chance Ohkura jumped in and destroyed everything.
“Oh, Ryo-chan is staying with me while he's here in Osaka.” Then Tacchon gave one of his cutest smiles and ruffled Ryo's hair before turning around and walking away to talk to Yassu. Ryo couldn't comprehend what just happened, unfortunately Yokoyama could.
“Ooho~. Why didn't you tell me you were sleeping at Ohkura's place.” The look that Yu was giving him at this moment wasn't very pleasant and what was even worse was that he could feel himself turning red. So before the other had a chance to notice he rushed off with the excuse that he needed to use the toilet.
One more week of this crap, Ryo honestly wasn't sure he would survive that kind of ordeal.

“... and I don't get it, what is he up to anyway? Yoko's been pestering me since the first day here, but he's still not saying anything clearly. He's just being an ass and I'm getting fucking tired with it. Yesterday he invited me and Ohkura out for lunch, but he kept staring at me the whole time. In the end it was only Ohkura who actually ate anything. And the day before that he kept walking in while I was showering with the excuse that he was 'just checking'. What the hell does that mean? Aaaargh!” He dragged his hand through his hair and took a deep drag letting the nicotine calm him down.
“Hm, I don't know, but you know how he is. Yoko is Yoko, he'll probably tire soon if you just keep ignoring him.” Hina said from his seat beside Ryo in the bar. Ryo looked up and received an encouraging smile.
“I guess. Anyway, thanks for listening, but I think I'll go now. I'm tired as hell, and I have a new day with recordings to look forward to tomorrow.” He remembered with a chill running down his spine that he would go on location to record for their TV-show together with Yoko and Maru tomorrow. He took a deep breath and heaved down the last drops of beer left in his glass.
“Bye. And thanks for the beer.” He waved to Hina as he walked out of the small bar to find a taxi.
“No problem, good luck tomorrow.” Yeah, he would need luck to survive a whole day with Yokoyama.

Having to go through this location Ryo only had two things that comforted him. The first was that Maru was there too, which meant he wouldn't have to spend his time alone with Yu. The second thing was that the location was in Kyoto making the traveling time back and forth to Osaka shorter than it could have been. Ryo was very grateful for both these things.
The filming went smoothly and before they knew it, it was time for a lunch break. There hadn't been any more weird happenings related to Yoko, but when lunch finally came Ryo realized that the reason for that was simply that Yoko was busy doing his job.
Ryo had sneaked away from the rest of the crew in a attempt to avoid getting harassed by his fellow member and was quietly sitting by himself eating his heated bento. Only a few hours left and they would be heading back to Osaka. They had been given the rest of the day off, so he looked even more forward to this job to be over so he could go home. Maybe even play some TV-games or watch a movie together with Ohkura. Ryo smiled happily thinking about how this day maybe wouldn't be so bad after all.
Of course fate wasn't that kind and just as Ryo sat there daydreaming nicely, a certain man turned up in front of him smiling happily.
“Hi, Ryo-chan. I was wondering where you took off to.” Ryo took a deep sigh, cursing his bad luck and waving his peaceful day goodbye as Yokoyama sat beside him.
“You seem kind of out of it, maybe you should rest some today. You even look a little pale, you're not sick are you?” This surprised Ryo and he turned his head to finally look at Yu, who wore a seriously worried expression.
“Eh? Mm, I'm fine. Just a little stressed I guess.” He half smiled to assure the other that he was fine.
“You sure. You better take good care of yourself, Kanjani won't do without you. You should make Ohkura cook you something nice.”
“W-wh-?” There it was, Ohkura again.
“I mean, that lazy boy should be the one taking care of someone for a change. The way we always dote on him, it's not good. He needs to learn how to appreciate the people around him.” Was this a new approach from Yoko? Or was he really just concerned? Ryo wasn't sure, but when Yoko got up and gave him a pat on the back he couldn't help but feel happy about it. When it came to 'It' being a trick or not, he found himself not really caring.
“Thanks for worrying about me, I just need some sleep though.” He gave Yu the first real full smile he had given him in a long time. This day wasn't so bad after all, and Ryo already felt better.
“No problem. I'll give Tatsu a call making sure he takes good care of you.” Then Yoko winked mischievously at Ryo and walked away, proving to Ryo that this whole thing hadn't been innocent concern after all. Well, at least it was better than what he had been exposed to so far this week. It almost felt like the calm before a storm and it somewhat made Ryo uneasy not knowing what to expect next. He sincerely hoped that Hina had been right and that Yu really had grown tired of the whole thing, whatever it was.
* * *
He had been wrong. The very next day when Ryo turned up to work together with Ohkura again Yu hadn't been late to pester him about it and several other things that day. And so it continued for the rest of their working time. Each day seemed longer and more stressing than the other with Yoko doing all kinds of weird attacks. Ryo even caught him checking his phone once. He was very grateful that the day he would go back to Tokyo and work with News came closer. At least one of his groups were sane. Well, more or less anyway.
Only two days left he told himself. It would be fine, he had through a miracle lasted this long. He wasn't sure what had gotten into their oldest member, but he had some qualified guesses.
This day had as on routine begun with Yoko giving him a overly merry good morning call.
When Ryo half an our later returned from a toilet visit that involved more splashing his face with cold water than anything else, just to calm himself down before facing the group again, the man also known as Black Ranger sneaked up on him around the corner.
“Soooo.... Ryo-chan~” He wasn't sure what Yoko wanted using that kind of sweet voice, but whatever it was Ryo was pretty sure he wouldn't like it.
“What?” He wasn't a man of many words, especially not when the one talking to you used a voice like that.
“Don't you have something to say~? Ryo-chaaan~” This was getting creepy.
“Like I said; WHAT? I'm sorry for not being a fucking mind reader.” He'd hardly ever seen Yoko like this, only a few times when the older man had gotten really, really drunk. The scariest part was that Ryo knew that it was impossible that that was the case and therefor the man in front of him was most definitely sober. This was finally it, the doom he had been waiting for these past few weeks.
“Hmm, well. It's like this, I think that you're hiding something. And I just want you to tell me the truth. That's not too much to ask right? I mean we are friends right? The members should not keep things from each other, don't you agree?” He was still confused as hell as to exactly what Yoko was rambling about, but at least that disgusting voice was dropped. He just gave the other man a puzzled look and kept silent, knowing that Yoko would continue talking sooner or later.
“I see it you know. You can't hide it from me, so you better just admit it... Ryo-chan.”
“Like I said; What the hell are you talking about?!” This was really getting on his nerves. He hated it when people beat around the bush. Especially when he was the clueless one, waiting like a moron. If Yoko doesn't decide to spill it clearly this time he was definitely going to get angry, like for real angry. Probably storming away leaving only a trail of curses behind. Actually that sounded like a great idea.
Luckily Yu decided to share what was on his mind, or maybe lucky isn't the right word?
“Are you in love with Ohkura?” There it was, blunt and very seriously spelled out for him. The question startled Ryo and he backed a few steps as he stuttered something like a response.
“Eeeh?! What, no- NO! Where did you hear that? I-I'm not... Of course not! Why would you say that?” He just kept rambling, this was really unexpected. This was the reason for Yoko's strange behavior? Was he really that obvious? He hadn't thought he was, but maybe he had gotten it all wrong. Or maybe Yu had gotten this idea from somewhere else. It was spinning inside his head in search for something to say. Something that would convince Yokoyama.
“We're not dating!” It was not supposed to come out as a scream, neither was it meant to sound so rushed, but Ryo wasn't exactly thinking clearly. He was doing something close to panicking and before he knew it he had run of with the excuse that he needed to use the bathroom, totally forgetting that he just came from there minutes ago.
In a dash Ryo found himself staring at his reflection in the mirror, washing his face with cold water to calm down, soaking himself for the second time in less than an hour. He had overreacted and he was currently wrecking his brain over it. One thing he definitely had to do now was to come up with a good temporary, but solid lie, that Yokoyama would swallow without questioning it. Another thing he had to do was talk to Ohkura.
* * *
“Are you even listening to me?” Ryo was currently pacing around the living room while Ohkura was sitting in the couch feeling rather comfortable. Ohkura had been listening to Ryo, he was a great listener. The thing was that he wasn't half as worried over this as Ryo was, or rather he wasn't bothered at all.
“I am listening.” He followed Ryo with his eyes as the shorter man wouldn't keep still.
“No you're not, they suspect something! Yoko confronted me about it!” Ryo practically flew at him taking hold of Ohkura's collar. They were both on the couch now and with Ryo half over him the position he was currently in wasn't as comfortable anymore. He sighed and pushed at Ryo so that he would sit on the furniture rather than his stomach. When the weight disappeared he sighed with relief. Ah, sweet air.
“So?” He really didn't think it was worth making such a fuzz about it, he didn't lie worrying over nothing. Ryo on the other hand gave him a look that clearly told him that he should be at least just as worried about this matter as Ryo was.
“So? SO?! I don't believe you! What if they find out?” Ryo was sitting down now, but that didn't mean that he was still. His hands were still holding Ohkura in a firm grip and as he spoke Ryo's face moved closer to Ohkura's.
“Yeah, what if they do? I mean come on, I don't understand why you want to keep our relationship a secret to begin with. The worst thing that could happen is that they tease us for a week or two. I'm sure you'll survive that. Besides, I want to be able to kiss you at work too.” Ohkura closed the remaining distance between them and kissed Ryo. To his disappointment Ryo regained composure after a few seconds and stopped kissing back and in stead pushed Ohkura away. Damn, he had been so close.
“Oh, no! I won't fall for that. No way. Uh-uh! Nope, not this time Tadayoshi!” Ryo hopped away to the other side of the couch, making Ohkura feel rather lonely on his end.
“Oh, come on Ryo-chan~ Let's tell the others. Pleease!” Ohkura made a cute face that he knew was one of Ryo's weaknesses. He had been able to polish up quite a few techniques to make Ryo loose most of their arguments.
“No, I won't give in. If you don't drop this and help me come up with a counter plan you'll sleep here tonight and I won't have sex with you for a week.” Ryo said this while padding the furniture they were sitting on smiling wickedly. Ohkura knew this tactic, he had used it on Ryo a few times, okay maybe it was more than a few times. Anyway, he also knew exactly how to turn this strategy around.
”Eh? Ryo-chan's no fair.” Then a fake pause and a pout. “...Fine. I guess I'll sleep here tonight then.” He reach for a pillow behind Ryo and pulls it out, making Ryo fall back slightly with a thud, placing it behind his head before he lays down on it closing his eyes as if he was going to sleep right now.
“W-what?” Ohkura laughed inside at the tone in the others voice. He knew that he had already won.
“Good night Ryo-chan.” It was silent for almost a whole minute before Ryo finally crumbled down.
“So you're fine without sex, for a week? Good, why don't we make it a month then? It's your own fault.” Ohkura just kept quiet, pretending not to hear Ryo at all. Then the sign of victory shows itself and the drummer triumfs.
“Damn! Come on, that's not fair. You know I won't last a week without sex! Fuck you!” Yes, he knew that very well indeed.
“Okay, let's do it like this. I'll sleep with you as usual and we can have sex as much as you want, I'll even let you top, IF you tell the others and let me be there when you do. Those are my conditions.” It was extremely fun to watch the faces Ryo made as he weighed the options in his head. Ohkura enjoyed it very much to see him struggle on the way towards defeat.
“Aaaargh! I hate you! Whatever, I give up. You win, we'll tell them. But don't come complaining to me when they abandon us; they tell Johnny and we get fired.” That's just how Ohkura likes him; Ryo in the end giving up after a long, often loud, struggle.
“You know just as good as I that that will never happen. Trust me, it's gonna be fine.” He gives Ryo a smile and the smaller man even smiles back. Then Ohkura lifts Ryo up and swings him over his shoulder, which startles him quite a bit. Ryo is hitting his back in a futile attempt of protest while Ohkura is far to busy with enjoying the close view of Ryo's ass to even notice.
“Whoa! Ohkura, what are you doing? Put me down!” Ryo struggles to get loose, but this is also a loosing battle for Nishikido Ryo, also known as sexy-Osaka-man. Ohkura is a lot bigger and a lot stronger. And in this particular moment, also a lot hornier than the man fighting to get free.
“I think it's pretty obvious what I'm doing. I'm moving you to the bedroom.” This whole fight-thing had gotten him in the mood, wanting to do something even more heated than an argument with his boyfriend.
And as usual, Ohkura got exactly what he wanted in the end.
* * *
“Ah, Yassan? It's me...” He reach to scratch a itchy spot on his noses. “Yeah... He's going to tell you all tomorrow... Yeah, I know... Of course, are you doubting me..? Ha ha! Mhm... Yep, I'll see you. Bye bye.” Ohkura hung up his phone and turned his head to look at Ryo who was already sleeping peacefully beside him, snuggling closer when Ohkura moved to lie down more properly.
They had just have fantastic mind blowing sex and after Ohkura had cleaned up the mess they'd made he called Yassu. He had promised to call and tell him of the outcome and after relaying the news Ohkura felt even better. He and Yassu would win quite the sum tomorrow. Ohkura gave Ryo a kiss and promised to treat his lover to something really nice for a part of the money he would get from the bet. He turned off the lights, and only seconds later he falls asleep too, tired and pleased with himself.
