Personality: Enma is an introverted boy who is often quiet, depressed and pouty. He gets bullied a lot. Even members of his own Family call him a loser. Enma lets this happen because he doesn't like fighting. He thinks that this would be an abuse of power and hurting people needlessly, which is why he doesn't bother to defend himself against the assaults and doesn't really act like he cares that he is getting his ass kicked.
Enma can be very anti-social, and this is shown by how he pushes Tsuna away when Tsuna first tried to get close to him. Though he has trouble making human friends, he appears to like animals. As soon as he saw Tsuna's sky lion, Nuts, he became quick friends with him. When visiting Tsuna, he plays with Nuts every chance he gets.
Enma has a serious side that can be seen in some of the looks he gives Tsuna, both when he tells Tsuna of the abuse his family has suffered and how Tsuna could never understand, and also when he sees Tsuna again after Tsuna's "Betrayal." By the way the recent chapters have unfolded, it seems that Enma holds a dark secret of being the head of the Family that is out to destroy the Vongola and punish them for their Sins.
History: Enma first showed up shortly after Tsuna and the gang returned from the Future. Tsuna was quick to note how much Enma acted like the old him. When Enma introduced himself after joining Tsuna's class, he quietly spoke his name and was asked to repeat it multiple times. Tsuna later was forced by Reborn to stop bullies from picking on Enma, causing them both to be beaten up. Enma fled from Tsuna after the fight, because when he and Tsuna touched hands, there was a sudden strange feeling that surprised both boys.
Tsuna later stalked Enma to the bank of the river where Enma was trying to fix his pants that the bullies had ruined. Tsuna surprised him and caused Enma to stab himself with the sewing needle. Enma tried to flee again, but he had sewn his pants incorrectly and lost his balance. Tsuna tried to help him not into the water, but caused them both to fall instead. Afterward, Tsuna dragged Enma home and Nana fixed Enma's pants. While there, Enma told Tsuna he should avoid him, but Tsuna refused by pointing out he was always getting bullied anyway. Tsuna failed to convince Enma until Lambo entered the room explosively and Tsuna's badly graded papers fell into view, which made Enma actually laugh.
The next day, Enma was once again stalked by Tsuna, who got a little creepy and asked to touch hands with him, but this time nothing happens. Then Enma got scared off by Gokudera's noisy greeting. Enma met up with Tsuna at school, seeing Adelheid and Hibari about to fight. Enma was obviously unphased by the whole thing. When Tsuna interfered with the fight, Tsuna learned that Enma was really a part of the Shimon Family, which was a weak Mafia Family invited to the Inheritance Ceremony.
Later on while Tsuna was trying to decide what he should do about the Inheritance Ceremony, he found Enma, who had been bullied badly, laying on a park bench. Enma told Tsuna that he should 'run away,' which was a statement that seemed leave an impression on Tsuna. Enma stated that he had thought of running away as well. Enma got up to leave, but was stopped and fussed at by Reborn for putting such thoughts in Tsuna's head.
A member of a rival Mafia Family came to attack Tsuna while they were still talking with Reborn. Enma was shown Tsuna's powers while Reborn protected Enma. Once again, Enma's ring reacted strangely, but that time Reborn took notice. After the battle, Enma was introduced to Tsuna's box weapon, Nuts. Nuts acted way friendlier than normal towards Enma, indicating Tsuna's approval. Enma seemed relieved that Tsuna was actually strong. Because Tsuna was attacked, Gokudera set up a plan to combine families to protect Tsuna. Enma didn't care how his Family reacted towards this and seemed distant from the whole ordeal.
The following day, Enma came over with Aoba and the rest of the Shimon Family to begin "protecting" Tsuna. Tsuna invited Enma to stay with him during the time, and Enma spent most of the time playing with Nuts while Reborn tested Aoba and Ryohei. Then on the next day, Enma came to the baseball field which Tsuna had gone to in ord to be protected on Yamamoto's and Kaoru's day. While dressing up as vegetables to help Kaoru's stage fright, Enma was stabbed by a sewing needle that was left in the seam of his costume.
A couple days later, Enma showed up at the emergency meeting discussing an attack on the allied Giegue Family. The evidence showed that the Giegue were taken out by a mysterious woman belonging to an equally mysterious rival family. Witnesses said that she had an abnormal flame attribute. Everyone left the meeting except Tsuna who was supposed to go meet with the Ninth. Enma was completely distracted by playing with Nuts, so he was the last one to leave.
After meeting with the Ninth, Tsuna went home to find Enma waiting in his room. He was reminded that it was Enma's turn to guard Tsuna. Tsuna finally confronted Enma about the whole 'run away' idea. Enma quietly listened while Tsuna unloaded, telling him how he did not want to be a boss and just wanted a normal life. Enma then asked why Tsuna was telling him all of this. Tsuna told him he thought that he and Enma were alike. Enma rejected this idea, informing Tsuna how much his family had suffered at the hands of other families because they were weak. Enma admited that he does wonder if he and Tsuna could be friends, to which Tsuna replied that he already considered them friends. This surprised Enma. After Tsuna explained that their whole families were becoming friends, Enma felt reassured.
Once Enma was alone, he called Adelheid telling her he thought Tsuna was a good guy. Adelheid pressed Enma to test Tsuna's feelings to see if it was true. Enma decided to write a note saying that he was in trouble and needed Tsuna's help. After Tsuna fell asleep that night, he slipped away to wait for Tsuna in the abandoned warehouse where he would be facing the bully family.
Because of a mishap with Lambo in the morning, the note that Tsuna wrote was tossed into the dumpster. Enma, who was unaware of this, sat alone all day and was never 'saved.' Adelheid gave him a firm 'I told you so'. Enma decided after Tsuna's apparent betrayal that they would go on with their plans.

Log Post:Enma had been unable to sleep right that night, even if he was very tired. It had begun. The others had gone to join the Vongola in the hospital. He still couldn't believe that after all of what Tsuna said, he still hadn't come.
In his dream, he saw himself standing over Tsuna's body. He couldn't see if Tsuna was dead or alive. He looked down at his hands and then his eyes went wide. Blood. He could almost smell the coppery scent of blood. He began to kneel to check on Tsuna... when something caught his eye. When he looked up, he saw a small, furry animal laying on the ground. His heart pounded and he had to run to it. When he picked up the limp mini-lion, his heart sank.
He hated this dream and he wanted out of it, He awoke in a cold sweat on hard ground. He sat up slowly looking around. "Where am I?" He asked himself quietly. Then he rose to his feet, and he turned in a circle to dust himself off. "I'm alone...?"
