Only 10 hours to finish this comic battle!! CanIdoitcanIdoitcanIdoit??? X___X I've had such difficulty with this battle, I'm half tempted to just default- graaaaah!! Glad I'm not you then ;)

Yes, I did feel rushed. Yes it did get frustrating as time winded down to deadline, but when all is said and done that's what I love. Working on a project. Having a due date and doing all that I can, come hell or high water to deliver.

It was a pretty wild ride.

Are other artists like you the same way about their work and rushed deadlines?

It's funny I'm looking more into this. My wife is taking an art class and I'm getting a look see on what it all certails in. Sorry to say but from what I've read, I'm not liking it. Along with some art news as of recent.

Artists are a unique breed. I'm sure we all take to these sorts of things differently.

Ahh, seeing this post is totally taking me back on how much fun this battle was.

As for homophobic video, I'd have to disagree. A phobia is an irrational fear, and what I enjoyed from this video was more of a fed up customer service guy spouting off the mouth over an unruly customer. I'm a sucker for amusingly delivered vents.

Thanks for the link, it's nice artwork and good illustration.

While I understand that a phobia in it's purest/psychological sense is an unreasonable fear. Homophobia on the other hand, is more than just the sum of its root words and their respective etymologies.

I understand boh3m3's complaints about the general public since he's dealing with them as a member of the service industry (I've been in "service based business" since 1987). Some people are annoying, demanding, loud, and just old fashioned obnoxious. His complaints were about not only the customer's loudness, but the subject matter that he was being loud about. They were about the customer's choice in clothing and accessories and how they were "non-conforming". In other words it seems that he's saying, "It's ok that you're gay, just don't look different, or act different, and please don't talk about it in front of me or my customers." Ergo, his complaints in the vid you linked to are predominately based in his apparent homophobia (please pay special attention to the second ( ... )
