I started writing again, too. Not because of NaNoWriMo, but because I decided today was the start of my New Year, calendar be damned.

Oh, god. That sucks about the keyboard. Why is it that when one starts a new project, something comes up to hamstring it? It's like the gods are testing us to see if we're serious or not.
