because kentucky kingdom is right next to the fairgrounds. if a ride broke and people went flying all over the place some of them would be sure to land in the goat pens, cattle grooming areas, or riding rings. this would cause immense psycological damage to the animals who do not want people or their body parts lying about in their living areas. protect the animals! make kentucky kingdom rides safe for all!
