Sungmin winced slightly at Wan Wan’s high pitched squeal. Noticing this, Wan Wan quickly covered her mouth as she could not restrain herself from squealing. Sungmin grinned and went to sit beside her.
‘You know, you’ll lose your voice if you continue screaming.’ Sungmin said conversationally.
Wan Wan stared at Sungmin with eyes wide open as she managed to silence herself.
Realizing that his presence was no longer welcomed, Eunhyuk silently slipped out of the room, smiling to himself as he heard Sungmin asking, ‘So, what is your name?’
Eunhyuk walked to the lounge and almost bumped into Kyuhyun who was running towards the door.
‘Sorry hyung!’ Kyuhyun panted.
‘Kyu! Where are you going? You need to be disguised or you will suffer the same fate as Yesung. Maybe even worse!’
Kyuhyun ran out of the door after bumping into Eunhyuk. He vaguely heard Eunhyuk shouting after him but he was in a rush and did not hear. He had to meet their manager at the office and he was late by ten minutes.
‘I should not have spent so much time playing Starcraft,’ Kyuhyun thought as he dashed to the office to find their manager waiting outside tapping his foot impatiently.
‘Kyuhyun!’ he snapped. ‘Why are you late and why are you not disguised?’
Kyuhyun gasped and realised that this was most probably what Eunhyuk had yelled at him.
‘I..I..I’m sorry… I was playing Starcraft and lost track of time. When I realised I was late, I ran down immediately and forgot to disguise myself.’
‘Starcraft again? You need to be more alert! See what happened to Yesung?’
Kyuhyun nodded silently.
‘Anyway, how is he?’
‘He is not so jumpy anymore but still insists on staying in his room fearing that fans may attack him again. I think he has a phobia of fans now.’
‘This is why I called you. I need you to find a fan of his who will not attack him to nurse him. This is the only way to rid him of that phobia. If not, he may refuse to go on stage anymore.’
‘But how am I to find fans of his when I am trying to hide too?’
‘You will have to figure out that yourself. You are the evil magnae. You will find a way.’ said the manager before leaving.
Kyuhyun sighed before turning around to head back to his room. He heard a gasp and looked up in horror.
‘I hope she doesn’t scream,’ he thought as he saw a girl gaping at him from afar.
The girl ran towards him before skidding to a halt.
‘Kyuhyun oppa?’ she whispered. ‘What are you doing here? And where are your bodyguards? Won’t you get attacked?’
Kyuhyun sighed thankfully. ‘This girl is so considerate,’ he thought as he smiled at her.
‘I was in a rush so I forgot to disguise myself. As for your other question, I am actually staying here. Please don’t spread the news; we are hiding from stalker fans.’ Kyuhyun said.
‘Oh ok. But… I thought you all were supposed to have left already?’
‘Yes, but something happened to prevent us from leaving. Oh ya, are you a huge fan of Yesung’s?’ Kyuhyun asked, remembering what he had to do.
The girl looked startled at his sudden question but shook her head.
‘No, not really. Actually…’ she paused and started to blush. ‘…you are my favourite.’ She said as she looked down, seeming to find her feet very interesting.
Kyuhyun smirked. So this girl was his fan? She was very good at hiding that.
Kyuhyun suddenly took her hand and dragged her to his room, ignoring her half-hearted protests. Kyuhyun stopped outside the room realizing that he could not bring her in as Yesung was in the room. Instead, he turned around to drag her into the room next door, which was Eunhyuk, Donghae and Sungmin’s room.
