‘Wow, Wan Wan is really upset huh?’ Ryeowook commented when Decen finished speaking.
Decen nodded miserably. ‘Now what are we going to do?’ she asked.
‘I’m not sure. I think we should tell Kyuhyun, Anh, Eunhyuk and of course Sungmin. And…’ Ryeowook winced slightly before continuing, ‘Yesung and Shuyan too.’
‘Ok, let’s go.’ Decen agreed, heading toward Block A.
Ryeowook caught her hand to stop her. In answer to her questioning look, he took out his cell phone and texted them. Moments later, he received a reply from Kyuhyun and Eunhyuk but…
‘Hey, Yesung is not replying. I think we have to go to his room then.’ Ryeowook said, leading the way into the block.
‘Wha…’ Decen exclaimed as she almost bumped into Ryeowook when he stopped in his tracks. Glancing at Ryeowook’s disgusted expression, Decen searched for the source. As she looked around in bewilderment, her ears caught a muffled sound of moaning in the distance. Staggering backwards, it dawned on her what Ryeowook had also realized.
‘Oh no, they’re doing it again?’ she groaned.
Recovering himself quickly Ryeowook said, ‘Never mind, we can tell them later. As for now, I asked Kyuhyun and Eunhyuk to meet us in the canteen. Anh is not with Kyuhyun at the moment.’
‘Now? It’s already ten!
‘Yes, now. It’s better as there won’t be that many people and we won’t be in too much risk of meeting crazy fans.’
‘Oh ok,’ Decen agreed, nodding her head and heading in the direction of the canteen.
Decen plopped herself down on a chair at the nearest table. Ryeowook sat down on the chair opposite her. Both of them were silent, thinking hard of a way to solve this. Getting lost in their own thoughts, they only glanced up when chairs were pulled up next to them. Ryeowook quickly filled in those who just arrived on Wan Wan and Decen’s conversation.
‘I think the only solution is to ask Sungmin to apologize to her and convince her that he was just joking,’ Kyuhyun said, pondering the matter.
‘But then she might think he is lying!’ Eunhyuk argued.
‘Not if he says the correct things!’ Kyuhyun replied, smirking as he whispered something to Sungmin.
'WHAT??!!' Sungmin yelped, jumping back in surprise and promptly fell off his chair.
'What did he say?' Decen asked curiously.
'He asked me to confess to her! What nonsense is this! I don't like her in THAT way!' Sungmin raved as he waved his hands about frantically.
Everyone tried their best to keep a straight face but only Kyuhyun succeeded.
'What's so funny?' Sungmin asked indignantly.
'Well, you look funny hyperventilating just because Kyuhyun suggested you like Wan Wan!' Ryeowook gasped as tears of laughter steamed down his face.
'Yeah, you know, I'm starting to think that there's something going on between you and Wan Wan!' Eunhyuk declared, grinning widely.
'Yes, if not, why did you react so strongly? Besides, Kyuhyun did not say that you really liked her, he just suggested it to make peace! Are you admitting that you like her?' Ryeowook interjected, after getting back his breath.
'Is there something you refuse to tell us because her friend is here?' Eunhyuk asked, glancing at Decen who was still giggling uncontrollably.
'No! I.. I..just..' Sungmin stuttered and fell silent.
'Are you finally accepting the fact that you like her?' Kyuhyun questioned, looking serious.
'What? Of course not!' Sungmin denied immediately, although he looked unsure.
Kyuhyun sighed. 'Look hyung, I know you well, and I can tell that you care for Wan Wan more than you should. Why are you so anxious to make sure she doesn't have a bad impression of you? You usually don't mind, saying that it doesn't matter what they think, as long as you aren't really like that, one day, they'll realize it. Besides, you don't usually use that much aeygo on our fans, nor talk so much about any of them! You were talking much too excitedly about her to Hyukjae and I, do you think I didn't suspect anything?
'I was just… just.. excited to meet a huge fan?' Sungmin said lamely.
'Oh come on! You've met even crazier fans before!' Eunhyuk said, rolling his eyes.
'Tell us honestly, how do you feel when you are talking with Wan Wan? What do you think of her?' Decen questioned, getting serious.
'I feel lucky that she's my fan and I don't want to lose her. I want to be closer to her and I feel a bit upset that you are closer to her than I am.' Sungmin answered carefully. 'And I think she's funny and sweet,' he added as an afterthought.
'There you go, you obviously like her as more than a fan. It's just that your feelings aren't that strong yet because you just met not so long ago, so you can't recognize it yet.' Decen exclaimed triumphantly.
'Yes, so go on and tell her that! And say you're sorry and you're not used to handling girls and that you're willing to make up for it!' Ryeowook added.
'Ok, ok. I'll go tell her,' Sungmin gave in, looking nervous.
Kyuhyun patted his shoulder. 'It's ok, I'm quite sure she returns your feelings too,' he reassured with a smile.
'I hope so…' Sungmin muttered quietly.
'Come on, I see my friend from C block over there, I can ask her to bring us in,' Decen informed, nudging Sungmin gently.
The group watched silently as Decen and Sungmin headed for C block.
