"Welcome home, Mr. Woo."
Kevin knows home is where the heart is. He thinks between himself and the man behind the immigration desk, one of them's got to be wrong.
Before Kiseop texts him, the city feels smaller. He raises his hand too high when pressing the pedestrian crossing button, and there's something less anonymous about being Kevin Woo here, the asian in the midst of blonde, brown hair, dark skin, even without fan cameras being pointed his way. His kitchen feels the smallest though. Cups and all.
It starts to occur to Kevin after the third day there that he may have outgrown San Francisco and that it may take a while for him to shake off the feeling of discomfort and isolation.
And then Kiseop texts him.
He reads the text under his sheets, eyes squinting in the dark.
dont know what hes doing there, but xanders in sfKevin stares at the screen until the words start to levitate and he has to swallow the lump in his throat. When he tosses his phone

Yoochun thinks that Junsu’s a little weird.
While he’d rather stay quiet and keep to himself, Junsu is loud and friendly and loves to drag Yoochun out of wherever he decides to hide that day. He forces Yoochun to play soccer with him (to which one of those days becomes the day that Yoochun discovers that yes, he does have asthma and that no, Junsu beating his back doesn’t automatically cure asthma attacks) and takes him on random trips to different places that Yoochun would normally never step foot in, like a cat shelter.
As the years go by, Yoochun’s happy to see that Junsu gets swept up in the wild life that is high school and finds himself with a little more time to do the things that he wants to do. He finally gets to read all the books he’s wanted to read, plays the piano as much as he wants without Junsu’s loud singing next to him, and actually gets some sleep on the weekends.
He doesn’t see Junsu as much as he used to, but he’s okay with that because he’s happy and he knows Junsu’s happy when he sees him walking down the
