It isn't perfect. I'm not sure how many places I'll be able to use the IME I installed, but so far I know it works in LJ, Gmail, Google, and of course Google Translate

Okay I have the Hangul IME on my computer also, and you confusterated me. I use it mostly when I am looking to download music. If it is only in Hangul this is how I usually find it. Wait, I know why I have confusion. You have a translation tab? I don't think I have this. Where you on Google translate at the time? When you sounded out the phrase did you know what you were saying? I am confused! Help?
Sure, if I can. :) It's called a "Language Bar" and mine is floating around in the upper right of any open window, and it got there because I changed a setting. Here's the path on my WinXP:
Control Panel > Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options > Regional and Language Options >
(opens up a new tool/settings menu, and the next path is for there)
Languages (tab) > Details > Settings (tab) - Preferences (at the bottom) - Language Bar (on the left) then check all the options for the Language Bar.
Over on the right is "Key Settings" and I think that's where I have to re-create the macros for Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V for Cop and Paste. But that's my worry. :)
See if you can get the Language Bar to float on your screen, and then if you can't figure out how to use it, let me know...
Still confusing. I will probably have to read this a few times to figure out what it actually means. Or have my son help me. I have the language bar, but are you copying and pasting words for translation in the language bar?
Oh, you *have* the language bar! I;m sorry, I was trying to give you instructions to get it.
No, I'm not copying and pasting from the language bar, I am using it to change my keyboard layout.
I click the "EN English (United States" until I see the "KO Korean" and then I checkbox the KO option.
After that the language bar suddenly stretches out with more options. I click the second one, which actually changes the keyboard between Hangeul and English.
When you're in English mode, that area of the language bar starts with a capital "A" and then says "Han/Eng" and when you're in Hangeul mode, the capital "A" is changed to "가" followed by "Han/Eng".
