Hello everyone, here is where I will be posting questions that have been asked by other participants.
1) Do I need to have five prompts when I sign up? I don't have that many requests that I want to see.
A: Yes, five requests is the minimum. It's so that other participants will have more prompts to choose from when writing.
2) Is it possible to have five prompts from the same group but with different pairings?
A: Yes, you can have the same group, the same pairing, whatever you like as long as you have five different prompts to give those writing something to work with.
3) Can I just write fics for the requests without having an inbox?
A: Yes, you do not have to be a participant to write for the fills. However, you'll still have to take part in the claims process like the participants, so check back for the masterlist preview on January 19th and the prompt claims on 20th.
4) If I am just writing, do I still need to give you my email and contact information?
A: No, we just ask that you use the same account to claim and fill your request, rather than doing so anonymously.
5) Can I participate in this challenge anonymously? What if I am just going to fill prompts?
A: No, unfortunately we cannot allow anonymous participation. It's much easier for us to keep track of claims and fills if they are attached to a username.
6) If we are participating in the exchange, what is the maximum/recommended number of prompts we may claim?
A: Recommended is five for each participant, but you can definitely claim more if you'd like. On the other hand, if you have trouble finding prompts you are able to fill, you can do less than five without penalty.
