We were sitting together on the couch and the tv was on. Jinwoon leaned in close to me and whispered in my ear:

"Nicole, I hate to say this, but I think the remote is stuck behind you."

"Oh," I mumbled, and I was about to get up, but Jinwoon put his hand on my arm.

"Nah, don't move. I think I got it."

He leaned over and slid his hand between the cushions. "Nope, not there," he said and he kept feeling.

His whole body was over mine now and our legs were entwined as he was reaching across. I kept thinking I should move, but I didn't. His hand almost touched my breast and I was worried that he would notice just how fast my heart was beating.

We stayed like that too long. His head was buried in the crook of my neck and I could feel his breath on my skin. If I tried to make a move now it would be awkward.

He kept fumbling and at last he brought his head up to face me. He smiled brightly.

"Got it!"
