Did your babies sleep on their back or stomachs and why?

To be honest, I don't remember. I think they slept on their backs. I remember my son sleeping on his back because, when I was finished nursing him, it was the easiest side to get him down on. But I don't think I did it intentionally.

because on your tummy causes SIDS. My pediatrician said to just rotate from side to side and back - so that they don't get that funny shape to their head. Of course, he used a different term than "funny shape to their head" but you get the picture.

my eldest one (abigail, 11) slept on the stomach, that was the way all kids sleep on those times, but my 2 other 2 girls (Sabrina 2 years and Samantha 2 months) sleep on the back, pediatritians found in these last 10 years that they need to sleep on the back :)
