I'm thinking of the Grand Canyon as a possible destination for my childless March Break holiday. Backpacking through the gorge seems awesome.

I didn't think that we would go through THE WHOLE DAMNED THING!

I'm looking for some good 8 hour hikes through bits of the southern rim.

yeah i realise that but it's still a bloody big hole...

just the thought of hiking through it (or any part of it) tires me out.
i'm probably just unfit though...
