Oh, excellent! A really nice read, with lots of emotion behind it, but no overload.

I noticed the Little Whining typo, too, but I have to say, it's a brilliant typoe :).

Oh, this was lovely! Especially that vivid ending. It's a nice AU where Dumbledore is wrong, but not evil, and I really feel for James and Lily and Harry. Love Ron in this, too, especially the way he bumbles, but still understands Harry better than Hermione does. (Ron and Harry's friendship is one of my favorite things about the books.)

Although I'd really, really hate to see James's face when he learned about Sirius. ::hugs James::

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you liked the story -- it was interesting to write. And I think you're right -- Dumbledore isn't evil, but he was wrong; he makes mistakes, I suppose. I love that scene with Harry and Ron, too, so I'm glad it worked for you. I thought someone needed to ask Harry how he felt, and that Harry needed to talk about it, and that that someone would naturally be Ron. :)

I really enjoyed how you balanced the dynamics of the Trio - Hermione's logic and Ron's ability to understand and just be there for Harry were especially well done. I think it brought out nicely how Harry relies on them for different things.

Lovely piece.
Excellent characterisation all round, from the neighbourhood gossip at the beginning through the Lily going to see Petunia (oh, how that conversation went!).
Ron was wonderful. Hermione, too, but Ron getting the butterbeer.
And Remus. I read so much Marauder-fic, that seeing him like this through Harry's eyes again was a really nice thing.

Banana's aren't just fruit in Australia at the moment - they cost $9 a kilo, or almost $2 each, so I thought, 'oh, bananas when Harry was buying them. :-)
