Oh, John. I stole musesfool's laptop just so I could read this RIGHT NOW and it was totally worth it. I love how you threaded John's tension through the whole thing and his sense of being sort of apart from it all. And in the end, Rodney just gets it and oh. So lovely. Wonderful. :)

This is great. I think it really captures the frustration and desperation John was struggling with in that episode, and the last scene is just lovely, when John breaks and Rodney gets it. The theme you wove through of John's mouth and smiles was gorgeous.
