I have to go to work (uuuuggggghhhh 7am Manager's Meeting I am having so much anxiety over this and I do not know why. All the managers on their own are awesome and I adore them. I don't know why having them all together is making me sick :() and I will have more to say when I come home but... ♥

I'm back, after work and a nap :)

I just love the mental image of John taking braiding lessons from everyone who will stand still long enough to teach it almost as much as I love the mental image of Ronon doing Keller's hair fifteen different ways and John hurriedly taking notes XD

And, oh, Rodney, I feel your pain. Despite being a girl with sometimes long hair, I still have barely mastered doing my own hair, let alone anyone else's.

So... yes. Just... ♥. Over and over again. ♥

(Especially because I didn't realize until THIS MORNING that I drunk-texted you about the thing. Oh my god. I'm mortified. I have never drunk-anythinged anyone before. My only solace was that at least it was someone I trust and not like, a random person from work D: )

I hope the manager's meeting went well! I always have anxiety when I have to be with people in authority, even if I know them well. It's . . . well, I guess I could blame my parents for their instilling me with a sense to respect authority? :)

HEE. People are so interested in the fact that John snuck off to take braiding lessons, but he would so do that! He just pretends to be lazy and apathetic! Secretly he'd train for the pigtail olympics if he thought it would get him somewhere. Plus, I have the feeling he's head over heels for that little girl and would suffer A LOT of indignities on her behalf, including watching Ronon's own tutorial. Which, I have to say, cracks me right up.

Also, since we're on the subject of what amuses me in my very own amazingly self-indulgent fic is what Scout calls Rodney, and so I'm thinking I might have to write a ficlet just about that. Jeannie's been an influence, OBVIOUSLY. *g

It was okay, actually! I don't know why I was so bent out of shape about it. I mostly just sat next to my boss and paid attention to what she was doing, and I'm on really good terms with the other managers (I would go so far as to say I'm friends with one of them), so it was just... I don't know, totally normal, except an hour earlier than my usual work day. But I did get out an hour earlier as well, so yay?

Oh, John would totally suffer whatever he had to for that little girl. I mean, it worked out that he could keep the braid thing secret, but if the only choice was to do it in front of all of Atlantis? He totally would. In a heartbeat.

I NOTICED THAT! The Rodney thing. And it was so incredibly cute I couldn't even stand it. Oh, Scout! And Rodney! I seriously want to read nine hundred stories in this verse, so please, by all means, write more XD

OH JOHN SHEPPARD--I can't believe he went and got all that TUTORING and is just being smug about it! You owe Rodney more than knee-squeezing, buster.

I think after Rodney finds out about Ronon's tutorial (you can't tell me that Ronon and/or Jennifer isn't going to spill the beans about that one), he's gonna think of many creative ways to have John make it up to him. :)
