i wrote an email that I have been trying to write for a few months, finally I got it out and said everything I wanted to. I know this makes me an ass hole, but I dont want anything in return from it. I dont want another email, I dont want a response. I just want to leave it as it is. but I know one will be coming, and I have to decide how to handle

it doesn't make you an asshole. you got it all of your chest. it is now in their hands. not wanting it back is understandable. you did it for you. but i suppose essentially for the other person's want for knowledge and closure.
