Kris woke up in the morning to find the bed empty, he was about to call for Adam when he remembered the other night.
Cale came in with a tray of breakfast. Kris smiled at him, “You shouldn't have".
"Of course I should've" Cale said, then sat next to Kris on the bed and then asked. "Are you going to talk to Adam today".
Kris put down the fork he was holding and looked down for awhile then looked back up. "I still need some time" he said.
"That's ok you can stay here as long as you want" Cale said, and then put his hand over Kris'.
Kris smiled up at him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you for everything" he said.
"No need to thank me. I'll do anything for you" Cale said, then went into the bathroom.
Kris looked at his phone to see if he had any messages from Adam but there was nothing. Cale got out of the bathroom and frowned when he saw Kris staring at his phone.
"No messages from Adam" Cale asked before sitting on the bed next to Kris, he then started rubbing Kris' back. Kris shook his head as a tear fell down his face, “I guess he doesn't care to talk" Kris said.
"Maybe he's still sleeping" Cale said.
"I've been married to him for six years and he's never woken up this late. Especially when he has work. Kris said.
Cale put his hand through Kris' hair causing Kris to sigh with affection.
"That feels so good. Can you hold me for awhile" Kris asked.
"Sure" Cale said, then lied them down and held Kris close to him.
Adam is drawing an outfit for a client in his and Kris’ house when his secretary/best friend Allison comes in his room.
"Did he call or text you back" she asked. Adam sadly shook his head.
"He said he would talk to me the next day but he didn't call. I sent millions of text messages and he hasn't answered them" Adam said, then put his head in his hands.
"Do you know where he is" Allison asked, and then sat next to him. She wrapped her arm around him when she heard his soft sobs.
"It's all my fault" Adam said, then abruptly got up. "When Tommy first kissed me I should have fired his ass" he said angrily before throwing a vase into the wall. Allison just stood in place deciding to let him get his frustrations out; when he had no energy left he fell to his knees crying. Allison hugged him and started rocking him back and forth. When Adam calmed down Allison asked him if he knew where Kris was. "Probably with Cale" he said, saying Cale's name with venom.
"Why do you think that" Allison asked.
"He spent the night before with Cale then he came yesterday morning and he got a message from Cale" Adam said.
"You want me to go over there and slap Kris upside the head because I'll do it. I may be small but he's just as small. I can...” Allison stopped mid sentence to put her hand in a fist and hit her palm. “Throw the hammer down" she finished with a smile on her face. This makes a big smile spread across Adam's face.
"No you don't have to. He said he needs time so that's what I'm going to give him. Having you here helps a lot" Adam said, running his fingers through Allison's hair. Allison smile and gives him a big hug.
