It's been weeks since Kris has talked to Adam and about 5 days ago Kris has been experiencing stomach pains, nausea and headaches. Now, he is fed up.
"I'm going to the doctor “Kris tells Cale after puking his guts out and cleaning his mouth.
"Good" Cale said. He was about to get up when Kris told him he wanted to go by himself."Why don't you want me to go with you".
"Stop treating me like a child. I'm not handicapped. You're worse than Adam was “Kris shouted, he automatically felt bad when he saw Cale's face. "I'm so sorry" he said, then grabbed Cale’s’ face and gave him a short kiss.
"Later" Kris said as he was leaving. Half way to the hospital Kris got a flat tire. "Shit... Fuck" Kris cursed and got out of the car. He opened the trunk and saw nothing there."Fuck... Could this day get any worse" Kris asked himself.
"Kris, is that you" Adam asks.
Kris turns around so fast he gets whiplash and is about to fall but Adam catches him. They stare at each other for a long time, taking in each other’s appearance.
"Are you ok" Adam asked.
"I.." Kris didn't finish his sentence because a sudden pain comes to his stomach.
"You're not Ok, I'm taking you to the hospital" Adam said, then picked up Kris. Kris automatically put his arms around Adam's neck and started sobbing lightly. Adam put Kris in the passenger seat and drove him to the hospital. While Kris is in with the doctor, Adam is sitting down outside the doctors’ room.
"What are you doing here" Cale asked angrily. Adam looked up to an angry looking Cale.
"I'm waiting to see what's wrong with my husband" Adam answered.
"Why do you care. You haven't seen your husband in 5 weeks. He's done fine without you and he'll continue to be fine without you" Cale said.
Adam stood up then stood in Cale's personal space. "You must be on cloud nine right now having Kris stay with you" Adam said.
"Yeah, I am. Kris needs someone who is reliable and loves him. He doesn't need a slut" Cale said.
Adam punched Cale in his jaw, causing him to fall down. A small crowd gathered around them. Cale got up then tackled Adam. Kris came out with his doctor and was shocked when he saw 2 security guards holding Cale and Adam.
"What's going on “Kris asked. Cale and Adam turned around and stopped moving.
"Are you guys going to stop" One of the guards asked, both men shook their heads so the guards left.
"Are you ok" Adam and Cale asked at the same time.
"Can we talk somewhere else.. All three of us" Kris asked. Adam and Cale look at each other irritatingly but they say yes.
The car ride to Adam's is quiet. Adam catches Kris staring at him time after time and biting his lip, and Adam can tell he's nervous, but he keeps it to himself.
When they are in the house Kris asks them to sit down. Cale sat down but Adam didn't. "I can't sit down... it makes me nervous" Adam said. Kris' lips turn up a little. "I know" he says smiling. Adam smiles back at him. Cale clears his throat causing Kris and Adam to look at him.
"Sorry...The doctor ran some tests and he found out something" Kris hesitated before continuing. “He found that I was pregnant". Cale’s jaw dropped ad Adams eyes rolled back in his head before he faints.
