Title: So Much Love
Author:
camisado_attackRating: As of right now, PG-15
Pairing: Kris Allen/Adam Lambert
POV: 3rd
Summary: The American Idol crew is moving into the Idol mansion. Adam and Kris hadn't talked very much throughout the entire season, and just when they think they won't have to bond at all, the two polar opposites get paired as roommates. All hell breaks loose as Adam and Kris attempt to get along. Being in a competition together is no help as they not only struggle to beat eachother in singing, but in a battle for acceptance as well.
Disclaimer: Don't own. Not real. Blah Blah Blah. Title belongs to the lovely Bryce Avary. Oh, also, I do not think Allison is fat in any way, nor do I think Kris is a redneck. It just fits the storyline.
Author Notes: First post ever on LJ. I hope I'm doing all of this correctly. If not, someone help me please? :)
Kris Allen and Adam Lambert.
Not exactly the best of friends. They didn't talk, nor did they even bother to acknowledge one's existence. That is, until they were forced into eachother's presence.
Kris tiredly trudged down the long, beautiful hallway of the mansion, praying he wouldn't get lost along the way. He was told by one of the other contestants that his and Adam's room was the one at the very end of the hallway. He had hoped they weren't just trying to play a joke on him, because he didn't even see an end to that hallway.
He finally found it though, and pushed open the white door catiously. There were two beds, one of which Adam was already standing next to, unpacking his belongings. He glanced at Kris, rolled his eyes, then returned to his clothes.
Ever since the beginning of this competition, Kris and Adam have been cold towards each other. Neither of them really knew why, nor did any of the other Idol contestants. There really wasn't a real reason, it's just that they were complete opposites, and had no interest in each other. The other thought what they, themselves, were doing was the right way to do things and tried to get along with everyone except each other.
Kris walked over to the bed farthest from the window, Adam watching him from the corner of his eye.
Damn, he wanted the bed by the window. Maybe he would ask Adam for it if he didn't bite his head off first.
He threw his guitar case and suitcases on the bed and began unpacking as well. Kris then decided it would be a good idea to get to know the place a little better considering he would be spending the next 10 weeks or so, in the mansion. He grabbed his acoustic and walked past Adam, down the steps, and into the large kitchen where he found Allison snacking on some celery sticks. She made a disgusted face at him as he passed by and leaned up against the large counter. He stared at her, confused.
"What're you doing?" he asked, referring to the celery sticks. She swallowed the repulsive vegetable and downed some gatorade.
"I'm trying to stay healthy. I need junk!" she yelled, throwing the food aside and running like a mad-woman throughout the kitchen. She hunted every cabinet and finally found a bag of chocolate chip cookies, smiling as one melted in her mouth. Kris stared blankly at her.
"Well, come on! Let's go out to the pool. Megan, Matt, and Anoop are waiting for some entertainment."
Kris was about to ask how he was going to help, but then realized the guitar in his hands...and the fiery red-head with a hyperactive personality standing in front of him. He smiled at her and followed her steps in the right direction.
Later that night, Kris had noticed Adam hadn't come out of his room all night except for a snack every now and then. Kris entered his room and his eyes immediately took notice to all of Adam's crap lying on Kris' bed. He heard the shower running and sighed. He unwillingly took Adam's things and placed them on the floor by his feet. Then, he hopped into bed and turned off the light.
A few moments later, the light flashed on. "What the hell do you think you're doing, Allen?" It was Adam.
He sat up in bed, rubbing his eyes. Adam didn't look the least bit happy with Kris. "What?" he asked, innocently yet viciously at the same time. Adam walked towards him and picked up one of his belongings that was on Kris' bed a moment ago. "Why'd you move all of my things? I was in the middle of something!"
"Maybe because I need a place to sleep, prick. You can't just put your crap on my bed!"
"Last time I checked, this was a free country," Adam grinned contently, sitting on the edge of his bed, glaring at Kris. Kris groaned and let his head hit his pillow once more.
"You're so stupid,"
"And you're irritating." Kris growled.
"Atleast I'm not a redneck."
"You're ridiculous."
"Well, atleast I'm-"
"Shut up. Please just let me get through the night, alright?" Kris snarled angrily, pulling the covers farther over his head.
Adam rolled his eyes, disappointed that all of his fun was over.
"Whatever. Sleep well, redneck."
