Oh man, I'm flipping out. I was having the hardest time writing mine - which, not what I need since I signed up on the very last day we could - and then I realized it was because I was trying to write it the exact opposite of how I'd originally wanted to so I scrapped what I had. Then work got in the way (hello, 13 hour day yesterday) and I haven't gotten to rewrite. So I'm going to be busting my butt trying to get this done.

I feel you on the having to re-write what you had started. I'm working on a plot that I had about 5k written two years ago. My style and just ability has changed so much since I first came up with this plot that I've pretty much had to scrap everything I'd written before and started fresh.

But don't despair! Remember that this is just the first draft. Get as many words down as you are able and then write out an outline or markers where you will fill in more between first and final drafts.

Oh, yeah, I hear you on that one! I look at some of my older stuff and I'm all "Wow. What a difference." LOL.
