irons in the fire update

So, let's see.....

I'm shooting to get Unicorn Precinct done and off to Dark Quest within the week (I've asked for an extra week to polish it off). I'm in the throes of it, and it's pretty much my entire life right now.

On the Farscape front, things are pootling along nicely. I've written through to #21, with #22 due early this month. I've seen the colors of #18, which will be out this month, and the lettering on #19. Waiting now for the art for #20. Also, just FYI, the trade paperback of D'Argo's Quest should be hitting stores this week, collecting that miniseries into a single volume for the first time. Not that I have anything against ...Lament or ...Trial, but I think ...Quest is the best of the D'Argo's trilogy, and you're seriously missing out if you don't pick it up.....

On the Dungeons & Dragons front, I've seen the page proofs for Dark Sun: Under a Crimson Sun, and all looks well. The book will be out in June.

A considerable amount of time was spent in the last week working on a big-ass collaborative tie-in project. If it goes through, it'll mean three novels for me to write in a franchise I've not yet written for. I also sent two solo novel pitches for that same franchise to the editor. I'm not getting my hopes up, because I never do, but if any of these pan out, it's gonna be fun.

I've got one piece of short fiction to revise and two or three pieces to write over the next couple of months, not to mention a graphic novel sample script. And then the urban fantasy needs to be finished.

As for SCPD, that's awaiting notes from my wonderful (and very busy) agent.

I think that covers the high points...........................
