No sleep for the wicked
Sleep was going relatively ok unmedicated for a while. Then it started getting bad again. And of course, when it gets bad, I don't have the energy to try to do anything about it. So it kept getting worse.

Mask of the Other
I just finished reading "Mask of the Other" by Greg Stolze. It was surprisingly good. Really good. I mean no disrespect to Mr. Stolze when I say surprisingly. I just know far too many people who think that if you can speak English, you can write the next great American novel.

Professional Risk Resolution
Professional risks are tough to quantify. Generally the rewards are financial, social, or less stress. The problem with that is that financial rewards are hard to gauge. Criminal Risk Resolution
Crime is a different risk than the others. With crime, the best case scenario is you don't get caught. And with crime, there are several times when the person succeeds, but still gets caught. Fire
Back in September I got a cheapy tablet - the Velocity Micro Cruz. I was disappointed with it, mainly because you get what you pay for.
This Christmas my wife got me a Kindle Fire. I'm loving it. It's fast and does most of what I want it to. I like the games, the web browser can handle even the silly little flash games on Google+, it's well ( Read more... )
