I would tend to agree, although it has been a while since I saw "Day of the Dead."

I just picked up "Dawn of the Dead" remake, unrated version, and "Land of the Dead." I was actually a little diappointed in "Land" even though it had a couple of scary moments. The beginning of "Dawn" has the best, scariest scene in any zombie movie, when the little girl walks into their bedroom. Kind of ironic considering that Romero did "Land," but not the "Dawn" remake.
