Picking up Mom and Dad at the airport on Sunday. Given how emotional I've been lately I really, really hope I don't start crying when I see them. Because it wouldn't just be a few tears, it would be full on embarrassed-to-be-seen-in-public crying

Walking in the snow does suck.  But maybe having them back around will be stabilizing?

It will. And I'll eat better too. I hate cooking in my kitchen so when I visit them for a weekend I'll do a ton of cooking and bring it back with me. That's something I've really missed while they're away.
