Okay, I don't usually join in on any snarking, but $20 for a 3.5 hour workshop? WTF? Undercut much?
3 hour workshops 'round here run $45. 3.5 would be at least $50. Perhaps the market value is a bit lower there? He's not doing himself or the rest of the community any favors by offering dirt-cheap instruction.
I've never seen him or Sadie perform in person (only him in a class setting and Sadie on video), so I'll not comment on the appropriateness of their pairing or venue. Wouldn't be fair.
Sometimes 2 hour workshops get to be that price.. and well worth it too. I think it's safe to say that he's offering what his classes are worth *karma spray!*
he's a good performer.. I mean, he puts on a good show. I don't think he should be offering workshops or classes yet though..there's a certain level of mastery one should reach before offering classes. I don't think he's well rounded, though he can layer like none other. I also think it's pretty presumptuous to be the primary performer at this place without offering other people the opportunity to dance.
Sadie is a great performer. she's very talented and interacts well with the crowd. I wouldn't mind going to the hookah bar to see her (even a shitty one like 40 thieves!) but it should HER show, not frank's show with Sadie as a special guest. maybe that's what special guest means, that it is HER show and Frank's just the host dancer.

his performing at 40 thieves with special guest sadie!
something about it weirds me out. sadie is too good to be coming down and dancing at a shitty hookah bar. /he/ sure fits right in though.
