Also surround sound's pretty superb... I had my PC hooked up to my 5.1 system during college (I guess you know that), you can get an adapter

I have a ~$70 surround sound system that I got for my computer freshman year. The one thing I've noticed is the background speakers really suck, they're not loud at all. So basically I just keep them in front of me on my left and right.

I'm thinking of a ~$400 surround sound system, or more. It sucks I don't know more about what brands are best (usually price is a decent measuring stick, but not perfect). All I've been trying to go off of are newegg reviews and it seems so few people purchase audio systems that you aren't getting a large enough reviewing sample to determine the true quality of the system. Maybe one day I'll just go dink around in a Best Buy or Circuit City and see what I like, then order it on newegg.

I actually have an ipod touch and I love it. Tim's ipod is a classic one that lets him view videos, but the I think the touch is better for viewing shows because of its larger screen.

I mostly got it for the wifi access, because I don't have interent capabilities on my phone (well at least I don't pay to have them)
