one woman show
I'm the quilt exhibit at the franklin county museum in downtown rocky mount this month. 7 big ones and 7 little ones.
And, I finished my Om quilt -- no picture yet, though. -
catch-22?
so, you can be trade act certified, and eligible for the disloated worker program, and be specially selected by the VEC computer for "extra" help on finding a job because you'll be difficult to place but...
at the same time your skills and education are so good you are NOT approved for training programs because it's too easy for you to find a job. -

Had bridge last night. Served a lovely pour custard over fresh strawberries. I used just a bit of real sugar; added splenda after cooking.
So how come 4!! of the ladies turned it down?
The ones that took it liked it.
I guess I need to come up with some different dessert ideas. Not getting enough takers. -

Taking a week hiatus or so while I frantically finish Elizabeth's lap quilt for the show; but I've made some progress on the Om quilt.

Well, the tests are over. think it's okay. I was surprised by how little extra time I had to check my answers on the Praxis II math test. Finished just about 3 minutes before time was called... just enough to scan the dots and find one that got skipped and answer it ( Read more... ) -

I had a non-stop day for my first day unemployed.
Yoga- Yin style.
Weeding.
Laundry.
Quilt Show website work; not done.
Oil Change.
Dishwasher.
Fresh Market.
Lunch.
Endless filling of fields to register for unemployment.
Bank.
Krogers.
Yoga; again. -
