So it's been so long since I've updated that I don't think I could ever fill everyone in on everything that's happened in the last month. Anyway, classes are going relatively well, although I don't know how the hell I managed to get so far behind in everything I have to do. I have so much reading to do it's not funny. valentine's day doesn't really bother me. kristen and my 2 year anniversay is on the 21st, a week from tomorrow. so it would kind of be overdoing it to make a huge deal out of valentines and our anniversary within the same week. especially when, as you said, "valentines has no significant meaning"

I'm glad you agree. But you have an especially good reason to agree, seeing as your anniversary is a week later. Congrats on 2 years, BTW

I think that it depends on what your significant other thinks of the holiday. If they think it's a big deal, then obviously something should be done. But personally, I'd much rather have a guy do something for me on a random day to show me that he loves me or is thinking of me, than to feel like he has to do something for me on V-day.

Yeah I see how if both individuals in a couple decide that V-day should be important, then more power to them to go out and do their thing and have fun...but I guess that they'd both have to agree to the importance of the day...but like you said, sweet things on a random day just seems more fulfilling

I was having this conversation with Gabe today. I dislike Valentine's day as much now as I did when I was single. When you're single, it's depressing. When you're in a relationship, it's stressful. And I'm not big on pink hearts, fluffy festive animals, and red roses. Also, I love Gabe everyday, not just Valentine's day. Yeah, pointless holiday.

Miss you! A much better day than V-day is in your near future. Who is excited about being 21 soon???!

I'm glad we agree so well on this! My thoughts exactly, except you put them into much more well-written, humorous prose than I ever could! I'm SOOO excited about 21...and I'm sure you are excited about 20...only one more year!! Hope to see you soon! I miss you tons!!
