Fic problems

I've had a Prowl/Optimus smut request and I can't stop them from just standing around and talking very nicely to each other. It's not a pairing I can see easily, which somehow makes me want to write this ficlet more. Suggestions for getting the writing jiggy?

Theme is that they're both similar in spark, and it ties in with this whole merging-with-Prime-is-medically-theraputic smutseries thing.

At the moment they're alone with each other on the bridge of the Ark on a shake-down orbit around Cybertron. They're bored and frustrated with being completely useless whilst the war rages.

And all they're doing is bloody bitching and pacing. (Rolls eyes)

Authority as an aphrodisiac sounds good, though...
