Kotetsu: Kotetsu ran a finger over the various brands of barbeque sauce, wondering which one he was supposed to get. He could call Izumo to ask, but he'd never hear the end of it, especially since he had even been given a- the post-it! Turning away from the condiments, he dug into his jacket pocket, looking for the post-it note Izumo had given him with the grocery list on it. It wasn't there. "...I lost it." He stated aloud, to no one in particular, before groaning quietly. "...Maaaan."
Hinata: Walking through the grocery store, pushing a carriage ahead of her, Hinata was making her way down to pick up some wasabi for the sushi she planned on preparing. Noticing a yellow sticky on the ground, she picked it up, smiling as she realized she had found a shopping list. Wondering who it belonged to, she grabbed the wasabi and continued down the aisle, spotting Kotetsu and waving cheerily.
Kotetsu: Noticing the movement out of the corner of his eye, Kotetsu turned slightly, grinning when he saw Hinata. "Hey!" He called out, reciprocating the wave. He waited until she was closer to him before speaking, not wanting to yell down the aisle (although it was very fun). "You grocery shopping too?"
Hinata: Nodding, Hinata blinked up at Kotetsu as she smiled softly. "I am, what gave it away?" It had been a while since she saw him, and wondered how he was doing. "Are you looking for anything specific?"
Kotetsu: "Some sort of barbeque sauce." He raised his other hand slightly, lifting the basket he was holding as a result. "And chicken, which I already got. What about you, getting supplies for your next amazing meal?"
Hinata: Hinata looked down at the post-it note, holding it up. "Would it be this kind of barbeque sauce?" She nodded again, rather happily. "Yes, I'm making salmon sushi for my imouto and I."
Kotetsu: "Ooh! Ooh!" Kotetsu said loudly, bouncing on the balls of his feet, snatching the yellow note out of her hand. "Hah! Take that, Izumo, I can so go grocery shopping by myself!" He paused his victory dance, looking over at Hinata, feeling a bit silly. "...Anyway! That's nice of you. I'm sure whoever they are will appreciate it." He grinned, turning away from Hinata for one moment, just long enough to find and grab the barbeque sauce he'd been looking for.
Hinata: Hinata giggled softly, blushing at his display. "Um, it's for my sister Hanabi. I can't remember if she does like it or not, so I picked up a few different things to make."
Kotetsu: "Always considerate." Kotetsu replied, shaking his head in disbelief. "Well, I hate to run, but I better get back before Izu decides to banish me for the week." He wrinkled his nose, as if considering that possibility. Shaking himself out of his thoughts, he refocused on Hinata. "Hey, want to do something later this week? I never did start teaching you how to drive, or we could just... I don't know... do whatever. Everyone's stressing about finals; it's such a drag. Need a break."
Hinata: "I'd like that, I haven't been very social since..." Hinata blushed, thinking about how she hadn't seen many friends since she started going out with Gaara. "We could do whatever. Um, give Izumo my best!"
Kotetsu: Kotetsu chuckled at the familiar blush, but didn't comment. "Will do! Oh, and call me whenever you got a free moment, okay?" He didn't bother to wait for an answer, already late, and started towards the registers, walking backwards for a moment as he waved goodbye. "Bye, Hinata! Was good to see you!"
Hinata: Waving goodbye, Hinata continued her shopping, pleased to have run into a friend.
