mariah in korea
Mariah Carey is here!
Of course, I was excited. I even skipped day 2 of the fashion shows so I could go to the press event. I even arrived an hour early, but there was already quite a long line outside the hall. :(
While I was in line, I heard some people speaking in Filipino. I quickly went up to them and chatted them up. Turned out one of the guys was Star columnist and Star Talk host Ricky Lo, who's here to interview Mariah Carey. It's was nice hanging out with them while waiting for the presscon to start.
Once we got inside, I was starving. The cake made me hungry, but unfortunately it wasn't for eating. :(
The presscon started a few minutes late, but it was fine. Mariah finally came out, and she was wearing a black mini-dress and knee high boots. She sort of looked the same like when she did Vision of Love. She smiled a lot and was pretty funny... kikay if you know what I mean.
I did get to ask my question about her unglam look for her movie Precious. Oooohhh and I did get a kick when she said Hi Kaytee. ^_^
The funniest part of the presscon had to be when she was talking about her perfume Forever. She suddenly said, "Oh, I'm wearing it right now," and leaned to the translator to smell her. LOL!
She's also doing MTV with Alex, plus some TV shows and an autograph signing. But I wish she would have a concert here in Seoul soon though!
